Designing the journey before the booking.

Running H1 Adventures with my wife gives me a view of the business beyond its website: the vehicles, guest questions, and coordination behind each trip. I designed and built the site to bring that practical perspective into how we present our Oʻahu driving experiences.

Logo and visual identity

I designed the H1 Adventures logo and used it across the business’s website. The reversed mark pairs white artwork with a deep navy background, giving the vehicle imagery a consistent brand signature.

Define the website's job

Turo already handled availability, pricing, reservations, and payment. The website's job was to establish our own identity, help visitors choose a vehicle experience, and explain what to expect before they booked.

I kept that division explicit. The site introduces the business and guides the decision; the booking platform remains the source for current trip details.

Lead with the experience

I organized the site around Wrangler adventures and Mustang convertible drives, giving each collection a dedicated page. The content starts with the kind of trip a guest wants, then moves into the vehicles available to explore.

Large vehicle imagery sets the scene. Model names, distinguishing details, and links to individual listings make the presentation useful for comparison. Both collections follow the same page structure, so visitors can explore different options without learning a different layout.

Address the practical questions

Choosing a vehicle is only part of planning a trip. Airport pickup, hotel delivery, and return arrangements also need an explanation.

I gave delivery its own page, organized around booking, confirming the handoff, arrival, and return. It explains the general process while directing guests to their listing and trip conversation for eligibility and final instructions. Relevant FAQs sit alongside the vehicle experiences, with booking links positioned at natural next steps.

Keep the site maintainable

Because I maintain the site myself, I used a static build with reusable components rather than adding a separate editing platform. Vehicle cards, delivery sections, FAQs, and calls to action share implementation patterns across pages. Changes are version-controlled and deployed to our existing hosting.

The result

H1 Adventures now has a branded website where visitors can explore two driving experiences, compare vehicles, and understand delivery before continuing to a reservation. It supports the way the business operates while keeping the customer journey focused.
