Bringing menus, locations, and the restaurant story together.
I designed and developed Goma Tei’s WordPress website, launched in 2018, to bring the restaurant’s food, locations, and story into one place. The client manages content updates, and our relationship continues through support by request.

A restaurant introduction with practical paths
The website needed to introduce Goma Tei while giving visitors a way to explore the food and find a restaurant. I organized the experience around menus, locations, and the restaurant’s story, connecting practical information with a sense of the dining experience.
Food photography gives the design its focus. The homepage brings that imagery together with the restaurant’s ingredients and noodle-making story, with links into the menu and further restaurant information.
Give menus and locations their own space
Menus and location information serve different visitor needs. The menu groups dishes into categories, bringing photographs and descriptions together. Locations have a dedicated page for addresses, contact details, hours, and map links.
This organization gives visitors a place to look for each kind of information, while the restaurant’s history has room of its own.

Organize editing around the restaurant’s content
I developed the site in WordPress, with dedicated menu and location areas visible in the dashboard. These give the client defined places to manage the restaurant’s content.
The client handles content updates. The editing structure is part of the original development scope, alongside the public-facing website design.
A continuing client relationship
Since the 2018 launch, I have remained available for support when the client requests it. This is support by request, rather than an arrangement for continuous maintenance or monitoring.
The live site has evolved through later content updates. Its current copy and content inconsistencies should be considered separately from the design and WordPress development delivered in 2018.
The project in context
Goma Tei brings together the public website and the client’s editing needs: a restaurant presentation launched in 2018, dedicated content areas in WordPress, and a client relationship that continues through support by request.
