I design websites for the people who use them and the people who keep them running.
I’m a designer and front-end developer based in Honolulu. I help small businesses and organizations turn their goals, content, and day-to-day needs into websites that are clear to visitors and practical to maintain.
Design is where I started. Operations changed how I use it.
I studied graphic design at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and built my career around front-end development and digital production. That foundation taught me to care about typography, hierarchy, spacing, and the details that make information easier to understand.
My perspective expanded through work outside a traditional design role. Running H1 Adventures with my wife means dealing with guest questions, vehicles, delivery coordination, and the practical limits of a small operation. Working as a trained Cantonese and Mandarin medical interpreter reinforces the value of accuracy, context, and plain communication.
Together, those experiences shape how I approach a website. I look beyond the finished page to the decisions, handoffs, and ongoing work around it.
