THE WEST x THE EAST
The name order is different between the United States and China. The given name is the first name in the Western order while the surname goes before the given name in East Asia. From a cultural perspective, it reflects different cultural values - individualism and collectivism. I navigate between two different cultural values, find the balance and switch to one or another when needed.
